Adding other smart home integrations takes a little longer than the initial configuration, but it's still very straightforward. We linked the Ecobee 4 to HomeKit's Home app in iOS 12 (we did not have the chance to test it with iOS 13 just yet), as well as to a shared Amazon account. From here, we were able to control the thermostat with Siri via HomeKit and with Alexa directly from the Ecobee 4 thermostat.
