Nordea Bank Says Employees Cannot Own Cryptocurrencies

The bank claimed that employees, at least in Sweden, have to stop owning and trading in bitcoin and other digital currencies. The message also clarified that the new policy will apply to all employees of the bank, including secretaries, cleaners, IT staff, and of course bank personnel.

So, anyone working for Nordea Bank, regardless of the position in the bank, will have to comply with the new policy. The bank provided no other details for the moment on how employees who already own cryptocurrencies should proceed and by when they should sell their bitcoins or altcoins.
